Honestly, I'm not aware of non-B & D Edge blades that meet the pigs, but I find it difficult to buy if I did. These blades tear everything. I'm on my second Edge pork (it's the old green and black one, now I have the orange and black), and were using these forever. I have so many songs to do: block and set curbs and public sidewalks on both sides (tapes planting), driveway, my sidewalks and courtyards. I cut every time I cut the grass, then about once aweeks in spring, summer and autumn. A blade can last me a year and a half.

The replacement blade is designed for the EB-007. It 'hard to find in hardware stores or hardware stores, even if the grinder is marketed. The cost of the blade was less than what I paid elsewhere.
For edging, WORSE BLADE EVER - T. Miller - Houston, TX
I use my edger for edging the lawn from the sidewalk and street. This blade is straight. It chops and mutilates the grass instead of leaving a good straight line. After a straight blade for the blade was a HUGE downgrade as much as the quality of the cut. In addition, the blade is short, and I put the grinder to the lowest setting to enter the land where the grass is below the surface. Although perhaps one that works best for digging, butthe blade is horrible, IMO, for straight edges.
I bought another law (8 "Rectangle) blade and although this is not for the car, it fits and works 10X better. I went back and cut the edges do not look right now does not work as the salad cut grass along the edges. pampered and get the straight blade.

The HD extender is a nuisance, and is a bit 'weak. However, the edges quite well and avoids the problems of starting and maintaining a gas edger. I use it once a month and use a battery powered line trimmer of the other three weeks.
